Youth Day Treatment

Day Treatment program provides services to youth in kindergarten through 12th grade who need more intensive mental health treatment than traditional outpatient therapy and who are at potential risk of hospitalization or out of school placement. Services include psychiatry, individual and group therapy, nursing services, case management, and family therapy.

There are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services.

The program provides treatment services Monday – Friday, on average 6 hours daily, including 3 hours of academic services during the school year. The program operates year-round except for CCC recognized holidays. Day Treatment clinicians will collaborate with schools to gradually transition the youth back to a traditional academic setting.

The Day Treatment Program is offered to the Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Perryville, and Ste Genevieve public school systems. Our Cape Day Treatment program is located at a CCC-operated facility while the programs in Jackson, Perryville, and Ste Genevieve are located on school grounds. If you have additional questions about our Youth Day Treatment services, please contact our Director of Children Services at (573) 290-5888.
