Treatment Family Home/Professional Parent Home

Treatment Family Home (TFH) is a service that provides the needed care and attention for the child, while keeping the child with a family, in a home like setting and in a community. TFH services are provided by trained and qualified professional treatment parents with the goal of reuniting children with their families. Our Treatment Family Homes can have up to 3 youth at each home location.

Our Treatment Family Home program assists children with learning to manage behaviors in an effective way to allow them to return to traditional home and school setting, to increase the stability of the family unit and assist family development of skills needed to successfully support the child, as well as provide progressive treatment to children that encourages the development of healthy relationships with others.

Similar to our Treatment Family Home program, Professional Parent Home (PPH) offers a more intensive therapeutic environment, again with the goal of reuniting children with their families. Professional Parent Homes are only allowed to have 1 youth at each home location due to the intensive nature of services.

These services are available to any eligible child or adolescent from our five-county catchment area of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry, and Ste Genevieve counties. There are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services.
