Ridgeway House is an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) program which provides 24/7 supervision in a group home setting located in Cape Girardeau, MO. This program is licensed by Missouri Department of Mental Health and funded through Missouri Medicaid. Ridgeway House is a 10 bed facility with all individual rooms. Bathroom facilities are similar to a locker room setting and are shared by residents.
Residents at Ridgeway are adult, females living with a mental health condition, with a focus on personality disorders. Residents shall agree to work toward their own individual treatment goals, including but not limited to stabilization of their mental health and acquiring the skills necessary to graduate into more independent living situation. Residents are required to attend weekly DBT skills training, application, and coaching groups, and are encouraged to practice the skills they have learned on a daily basis. Residents also attend DBT individual counseling sessions provided by an onsite therapist. An onsite nurse is available to residents regarding medical needs.
