Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS)

Community Counseling Center offers multiple Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) options. IRTS facilities provide a 24/7 supervised setting. The program is designed to assist individuals with improving their level of functioning, develop natural supports, prepare residents for living on their own by teaching independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and money management, teach self-management of illness, and assist residents in achieving recreational, educational, and vocational goals with emphasis on greater integration in the community.

One of our facilities contains three (3) diversion beds. These beds serve as an alternative to inpatient hospitalization and/or as a resource that hospitals may use to shorten inpatient stays for individuals who are not actively a threat to themselves or others.

This service is available to any eligible adult from our five-county catchment area of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry, and Ste Genevieve counties. There are eligibility criteria for this service which would be determined upon evaluation for services.
