Consumer Advisory Board

The Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) of the Community Counseling Center (CCC) meets monthly for the purpose of providing input for the Center’s service delivery and to develop initiatives that promote awareness regarding the stigma associated with mental illness. CAB advises, plans, monitors and advocates on behalf of consumers of service. Any CCC consumer of service or family member is eligible for membership. The Board meets monthly and is open to all CCC consumers. Attendees may address the Board regarding any issue involving the delivery of service or any issue effecting their health or well being.

The Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) officers include the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer who are elected annually. A representative of the CAB serves as an advisory member of the governing board. A monthly consumer report is presented at each meeting of the Governing Board.
