Foundation Board

Community Counseling Center’s Foundation Board raises funds to support the work of the Center. The Foundation Board consists of businesses and professionals committed to the advancement of services toward those afflicted with mental illness. The 25 members of the Board represent the communities served by the Center. Also, The Board elects officers, such as an executive director, and establishes goals for its projects.

Funds raised by the Foundation are used for a variety of purposes, such as providing seed money for new programs, matching funds for the purchase of vans for Clubhouse and Psychosocial Rehabilitation programs, annual consumer events such as legislative sessions, Christmas parties, and summer programs for children. The acquisition of a recent loan allowed for the initial development of a 14 bedroom apartment complex for adult consumers in Madison County.

The Foundation sponsors annual fund raising events throughout the year. Typical events include the following:

  Antique and Collectible Show
  Doctor/Lawyer Basketball Game
  Benefit Golf Tournament
  Marathon Run
  Wine Tasting
  Doctor/Lawyer Softball Game

In addition to the above events, the Foundation sponsors a corporate giving campaign and annual membership drive. All proceeds are used for the benefit of the consumers of the Community Counseling Center.

A new project of the Foundation is the planned Giving Program that allows persons to include the Foundation in their estate planning.

Any person wishing to support the work of the Community Counseling Center by making a tax deductible donation through its Foundation may do so by completing the gift/pledge form, provided by the link below.
